ALEKSANDRA DĘBEK is a small consumer-electronics shop in Gdańsk, Poland. The range is deliberately narrow: four digital bathroom and body-composition scales, and four wired mechanical keyboards with a numeric keypad.
A scale is a measuring instrument, so each one is tested against a 20 kg reference weight before it goes on the page and the deviation is stated. Graduation, platform size, tempered glass thickness and battery type are written down, because two scales that both read 180 kg can feel completely different underfoot.
The keyboards are the second half of the shop. Switch type, actuation force, keycap material and whether the case is aluminium or plastic are listed for every board, and each one is typed on for a working day before the description is written. Nothing on this site calls a switch silent unless it is.
